Description
I had the idea to try and reach out to some stubborn minds with music to hopefully soften their view point and maybe get them to just consider; what would be the harm in trying to do good for the environment that everyone depends upon for life itself? How can people claim to be pro-life if they won’t consider the harm we do to our planet and try to think of ways to improve for the sake of all living things. What good is wealth if the air cannot support life and what’s left of the water is not fit to drink or grow anything?
Bio
Adrian has been making music for over 60 years and still continues to write and record original songs. Doesn’t have a lot of money but tons of ideas. Band name is Six Of One.
It refers to several things. The first.. no one has ever guessed….the VI chord is a minor chord which I favor. Also the number of hats one must wear in the music business these days, and having the ability to see different perspectives for a particular issue. Adrian is also an animal lover and environmentalist who has been sponsoring orphaned elephants at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for 15 years. Thirteen at last count. Hopes to have a new album out in 2025 if health holds up.

Lyrics
High Tide Is Coming
High tide is coming in
The water keeps rising
High tide is coming
The pressure is on
High tide is coming in
Look on the horizon
We’d best be moving on
Moving on
Oh what can be done?
The signs say “sold out”!
So where can we run
To find our way out?
She spoke to the man (the serious man)
He say, “Remain calm,
We’re doing all that we can.”
Oh Oh
High tide is coming in
Water keeps rising
High tide will be here soon
The pressure is on
High tide is coming
Temperature’s rising
We’d best be moving on, moving on.
The wise man he knows
It comes and we must go
We all made mistakes
Sometimes our heart breaks
But if we take and take and take
In the morning we might wake
To find all that we had is gone.
Oh Oh
High tide is coming in
The water keeps rising
High tide is coming
Pressure is on
High tide is coming in
Look on the horizon
We’d best be going now
Our time has come.
They say a rising tide
Will raise up all the boat
But who can say today
What will sink and what will float?
If the rich man can’t swim
They throw him a rope
While the poor man just sink like a stone.
High Tide is coming in
Water keeps rising
They say high tide will be here soon
And our time has come
Nothing can be done
The mindless proclaim.
But who had to suffer?
And who was to blame?
If we don’t figure it out
Before it’s too late
Life may be a whole lot tougher
If all we do is wait.
How high is the water mama?
What can be done?
How high’s the water mama?
There’s nowhere to run.
How high’s the water mama?
The ice be melting
And now,
our time has come.
High tide is coming in
The water keeps rising
High tide is coming
The pressure is on
High tide is coming in
Look on the horizon
We’d best be moving on
