Description
After a heart wrenching divorce, I kept having dreams of a mandolin, so I bought one, learned to play and song after song poured out. This song is about my first love after divorce. I fell hard and fast only to realize I had not yet found my place in the world and needed to let go of this love to find myself.
Bio
My love for creating music started at 2 when a traveling accordion salesman came to our house. I pointed and said “that!” By the age of 3 I graduated to the piano and I learned to read notes before I learned to read words.
From my bedroom after lights out, I recall records of Burt Bacharach, Dione Warwick, Simon & Garfunkel, and Barbara Streisand spinning on my parents stereo.
I crushed on Carole King, playing her album Tapestry over and over. My summers were spent performing in musicals. Although I was a shy awkward child and teen, performing on stage was one of the more comfortable places for me. I also discovered a love of music theory and composition and spent time studying at Brown University, Berklee College of Music, and New England Conservatory’s evening program. Then life happened….and music took a backseat until….
After a series of heart breaking moments in my life, a mandolin showed up in my dreams one night, so I bought one and songs began to pour out and then I craved being “back home on stage”.
Currently performing with The Honey Steelers(https://thehoneysteelers.com) and working on my first solo album.

Lyrics
They say that time heals all wounds
and love will come around soon
but I don’t know, I don’t know
My heart is breaking in two
My heart is breaking in two
without you
I gave you all I had
No stone was left unturned
My love was really and true
My heart is breaking in two
my heart is breaking into
without you
leaving you was so hard
but losing you is worse
cause I’m no good without you
My heart is breaking in two
my heart is breaking into
without you
and love will come around soon
but I don’t know, I don’t know
My heart is breaking in two
My heart is breaking in two
without you
I gave you all I had
No stone was left unturned
My love was really and true
My heart is breaking in two
my heart is breaking into
without you
leaving you was so hard
but losing you is worse
cause I’m no good without you
My heart is breaking in two
my heart is breaking into
without you
