My music is from personal experience but with hopefully with universal themes. I also integrate my professional experience working as a counsellor to inform my lyrics in different ways of how people deal with life’s challenges and survive and grow from this

Riz Angel, a talented singer/songwriter hailing from Brixton in South London, has been making waves in the music scene with her emotive and soulful compositions. Collaborating with the multi-talented musician, producer, and coach Mike King, Riz Angel brings a unique blend of heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies to her music. Having released her album ‘Shine like the sun’ in 2021 and a series of cover songs and singles, Riz Angel continues to captivate audiences with her raw and authentic storytelling.
Riz is also part of an all female UK ska band as a bass player and songwriter called ‘the Deltones’ which has recently reformed after 34 years
