Description

It’s a love song – I wrote and recorded it for my wife as a birthday present.

Bio

I have been singing and writing songs all my life. Most of my songs start on the guitar. I try to reflect what’s going on in the world in my writing, so many of my songs have a “how do we make the world a better place” theme to them somewhere along the line. I do believe that music can help people to see the world differently, and I always hope my songs can play a small part in that.

Lyrics

There’s a time for working, there’s a time for rest
There’s a time for turning down what’s second best
There’s a time to enjoy good things we know can’t last
But I always will need you

There’s a time for searching, there’s a time to hide
There’s a time not to hurry by on the other side
There’s a time to swallow back that wounded pride
But I always will need you

And though this damaged world can break our stride
I hope and pray you’ll be by my side
You’ll be by my side

There’s a time for less, there’s a time for more
There’s a time for the rich to give back to the poor
There’s a time for breaking down that last closed door
But I always will need you

There’s a time for the future, there’s a time for the past
There’s a time to wait for a love we know will last
There’s a time to wish that we had never asked
But I always will need you

And though this damaged world can break our stride
I hope and pray you’ll be by my side
You’ll be by my side

I need your love just like the air I breathe
My life is nothing without you
I know I cannot take this road alone
You’ll always call, you’ll al – ways call me home

There’s a time for when, and a time for why
There’s a time for giving it just one more try
There’s a time to fall down on our knees and cry
But I always will love you
I always will love you
I always will love you, always you
