I’ve Been Here Before
Well, I’m not totally convinced this one fits the brief. One of the first songs I ever finished, from my psycho stalker period, so I guess it’s more “disturb” than “comfort”.

Well, I’m feeling disturbed! :). Clever lyrics, which got more disturbing as the song moved on. Also , it has a clever chord sequence.
And that concludes the case for the defence, m’lud. Absolutely loved that. Brilliant wordsmithery and a deceptive light, jaunty melody. And yes, I get the Talking Heads vibe too, which is a plus!

Nice one, structure, hook and second along with first person stuff helps it to work at one listen – which it needs to for me with over 30 to work through!
