He is an award-winning songwriter\, producer\, and author of Songwriting Breakthroughs and The Singer-Songwriter’s Guide to Recordings in the Home Studio. Shane’s artists have hundreds of thousands of listens on streaming services. \nA graduate of Berklee College of Music\, Shane is a founding instructor at Berklee Online and an Associate Professor mentoring master degree candidates at Berklee NYC. He is also a founding songwriting and music production instructor for Interlochen Online. \nShane holds two GRAMMY nominations as a Music Educator and received the Tennessee Songwriters Association’s highest honor: THE HALLMAN AWARD. It will be the story of who you are\, what you’ve lived through\, and what it took to bring this music into the world.This live Zoom session is here to make sure you know how to capture that story as it happens — simply\, naturally\, and without needing to become a “content person.”\nAlex Morley\, our Head of Content\, will introduce the content side of 50 Over 50 and show you how we’ll help you document the making of your album from the inside. He’ll explain what kinds of moments are worth capturing\, how the prompts will work\, what footage is useful\, what simple tech you’ll need\, and how the final edited piece will come together.\nThe aim is to make the content process feel clear and doable\, especially if you’re camera-shy\, unsure what to say\, or worried about “getting it right.” This is not about creating polished influencer content. It’s about capturing honest moments: the first time you hear a new arrangement\, the nerves before recording vocals\, the breakthrough after a producer call\, the reaction of someone you love hearing your music\, or the moment you realise your album is becoming real.\nTaking part in the content journey is completely optional and costs nothing extra. But if you do take part\, you’ll finish the project with more than an album.
