Description

My intention was to write an upbeat pop song, about how imperfect people can be (almost) perfect for each other. I wanted a love song that wasn’t too sugary sweet.

Bio

I’m an independent songwriter, based in Scotland. Creating vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, sounds and textures to present my music at its best.

I’ve been in love with songs for as long as I can remember. It’s always been about the song, rather than the artist. I don’t care who creates it, or who interprets it, if I like a song, I like it. It’s that simple.

Sometimes a song will just connect with the way I feel, another song might take me away somewhere else. Music is magic, good songwriting is a mystery.

Lyrics

I don’t care if the sun don’t shine
I’ll take a full moon any time
It won’t burn or make me blind

I don’t care if your head is cracked
And you can’t put all the pieces back
I stare at you cause I want you

And I want you to know
We go fast or we go slow
I don’t know what you need but I want you

I don’t care if you think I’m strange
Standing up on the firing range
Would you miss me anyway

I don’t care if the odds are stacked
And I don’t get my money back
I’ll take a chance cause I want you

And I want you to know
We go fast or we go slow
I don’t know what you need but I want you

I don’t care if they don’t approve
I don’t care if hell gets loose
Heaven is overrated

I don’t care if we lose the light
It won’t keep me awake at night
Not hard to see that I want you

And I want you to know
We go fast or we go slow
I don’t know what you need me to be

And I want you to know
We go fast or we go slow
I don’t know what you need but I want you
